Slovenian region of Štajerska (Styria) is the home of about one third of Slovenian population and also the home of one of the most amazing Slovenian wine-growing locations. The combination of the continental climate with hot, dry summers and soft mineral-rich marl soil is what makes wines from the region one of the most sought-after among fine wine connoisseurs.
The region produces elegant high-quality wines with wide selection of aromas, soft flavours and a beautiful, overwhelming harmony of freshness. The soft golden-yellow Chardonnay from 2011 is matured for 18 months in an oak barrel.
